From November 25th to 26th, 2023, the "2023 (8th) China Manufacturing Power Forum," organized by the Government of Baoding City, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Hebei Province, and the Organizing Committee of the China Manufacturing Power Forum, was grandly held in Baoding. The forum, with the theme "Promoting New Industrialization and Cultivating New Quality Productivity," invited leaders from ministries and commissions, academicians, experts and scholars, industry associations, and leading enterprises to provide solid technical support for advancing new industrialization, accelerating the construction of a manufacturing power, and building a solid material and technological foundation for China's modernization.

The China Manufacturing Power Forum (formerly the China Manufacturing 2025 Summit) is supported by the Strategic Consulting Center of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the National Development Research Institute of Peking University. It is one of the largest-scale and most influential summits in China, often referred to as the "Davos of the manufacturing industry."
